MAP and location
The original BMFeast, organized by Scott Lee of E90Post.com, took place
October 4, 2008 in Flanders, NJ. When the event was first organized,
roughly 200 BMWs were expected to sign up, but by the week prior to the
event over 400+ BMWs registered to attend. The 2008 event took place in a
large grass field area, with the limited space available and as a result some
of the show vehicles were forced to park in different locations, which
diminished the continuity and flow of the overall event. Despite the logistical
issues, BMFeast was a huge success, and many were anxiously awaiting
the follow-up event.
In August 2009, Joe LaPadula and Derek Pasch of Martino Auto Concepts/
MAC Auto Couture stunned the exotic car community with the spectacular
accomplishment of the inaugural Gold Coast Concours. With over 150 of
the world’s most rare and sought after hyper exotics, and the 5000+ people
they attracted, the foundation was laid for what is sure to become one of the
most highly anticipated sophomore events ever.
In 2011 these two mega shows decided to combine forces, and bring you
BIMMERSTOCK 2011.
After the tremendous successes of both BMFeast in 2008, and the Gold
Coast show of 2010,
the City of Glen Cove was turned into the largest and most significant
gathering of exotic and luxury car enthusiasts on the East Coast on
September 25th 2011.
Planning and development is already at full throttle to make
BIMMERSTOCK 2012, taking place September 9th 2011, bigger and better
in every way- once again exceeding all expectations. Of course, once
again, 100% of the proceeds from this year’s event will go directly to the
Diabetes Research Institute (DRI). “Thankfully, there are many charities and
organizations devoted to the care of diabetes patients and the education of
the public about diabetes, but there is only one national organization solely
devoted to finding a cure for diabetes: the Diabetes Research Institute.”
